Notes | The diplomat and businessman Emil Jellinek had bought the company Austro Daimler in Wiener Neustadt and hired in 1906 Ferdinand Porsche. Ferdinand Porsche designed for the model range 1908 the type 28/32, which had later on the designation type 28/36 and finally starting from 1912, was sold on the market as type 18/38 - as main model of the Austro Daimler Group. In December 1907, Archduke Leopold Salvator, the Inspector General of the k.u.k. Artillery, bought the splendid 28/32 with the city car subframe of the car-body-company Cerny.< |
