Notes | Germany's Black Forest is home to the famed Cuckoo Clocks, as well as the prototype of this unique model. The actual building was constructed between 1979 and 1981 by Joseph Dubold, in the style of a traditional home which houses the world's largest cuckoo clock. The working model is complete with battery-powered clock mechanism, which includes the cuckoo and its familiar song. There is also an electric motor to drive the waterwheel. |
