Assembly

I will be using six of these for a Zoo ride through an African Safari. First I disassembled the units. Installed a Faller Car System front end with turning wheels. Then weathered the tires with "dirt".

The Faller Car System front end installed.

Painting all the parts.

Weathering the bed to look like people have been using them. Bench seats were already installed on these for seated passengers.

After Dullcote spray.

Small parts to be added.

Canvas top with straps installed and weathered. "Straps" are just Sharpie markers.

Before final assembly.

Drivers installed in the cabs and the cabs reassembled.

Now that the first model worked. Time to do the other 5. Front axle area before being removed to fit the Faller front end.

Clipped the front end off.

Assembled the Faller front end.

Painted and "weathered" more people.
