Assembly
I ordered this model from Germany over eBay. The shipper did not package it well and it arrived crushed. The "metal" rigging is really just silver heavy cardboard. Crushed easy and hard to repair.
I straightened the bars with clamps and soaked the cardboard with super glue to stiften the rigging.
The lights had been knocked down in shipment too.
The background of the stage is terrible and not easily replaced. A bad decision by Noch. A butterfly at a Rock Concert? Really?
The backs of the lights are not sealed which let light show through the backs of the housings. I put glue in the backs and let it harden. Then I painted the backs of the lights black,
I painted the rigging with an iron color paint.
The electronic module and speaker was hidden in the back of the stage.
Lights stay static blue when no music is sensed through the module.
Lights change color and flash to the music. Watch the video.
Closeup of left side of stage.
Closeup of right side of stage.
Installed a door and signs to create a back entrance to the stage. Employees only!!
Stage with no lights on and backdrop replaced with a simple grey card.
I printed a themed backdrop on silk printer paper. Paper was meant for Ink Jet printers but seemed to work OK. I like the "cloth look" as it creates the look of a canvas backdrop.
The theme of my show is "Classic Rock", so logos from famous classic rock bands and the show logo are present.
My show theme is Hard Rock Live presents Classic Rock!!
Completed stage in standby, Wiating for the music.
Rock On!!
Created Marshall Amp stacks on my laser printer and glued them to the face of the dummy speakers provided.
Completed model.
