Assembly


This Recycling Depot will be repurposed into an animal shelter and pen for the zoo. Basic structure built, weathered and lit with 2 LEDs.


Roof painted and weathered.


Roof installed and clamped.


The window screen at the bottom was supplied by Faller. I replaced it with a silver mesh (shown at the top) that I found at a craft store. It is a lot finer and looks more like scale chain link fence.


Attaching the fine mesh to the uprights with glue was a real delicate job.


Sliding gate assembled.


After the glue hardened, I spraypainted the mesh with a silver paint to make the mesh stiffer and more visible.
